Chris Rock: Rock was discovered by Eddie Murphy at New York's Comedy Strip. A small role in Murphy's Beverly Hills Cop II (1987) was Rock's film debut. In 1990, Rock followed the footsteps of his idol, Eddie Murphy, by joining the cast of Saturday Night Live. Rock also appeared in Sgt. Bilko (1996), Beverly Hills Ninja (1997), and Lethal Weapon 4 (1998). Other films include Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001), Bad Company (2002) co-starring Anthony Hopkins, and the voice of Marty in DreamWorks’ Madagascar (2005). Rock has continued to thrive as a comedian and an actor. He has also appeared in such films as Death at a Funeral (2010) with Martin Lawrence and Grown Ups (2010) with Adam Sandler. In 2012, Rock starred opposite Julie Delpy in the independent romantic comedy 2 Days in New York. He has received warm reviews for his recent film Top Five (2014).

Mario: Mario is an American R&B singer who since his mid-teens has developed a convincingly strong career. He was signed to the New York label 3rd Street/J Records, working with producer Clive Davis. After contributing to the soundtrack of Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001), Mario released his self-titled debut album in July 2002 while he was still 15, preceded by the single "Just A Friend 2002" based on a hit by Biz Markie. Mario returned with the "Turning Point" album in December 2004, at the age of 18. The first single, "Let Me Love You", became Mario's first US number one and an international hit, and the album's fresh sounds and often surprising lyrics introduced him to a wider audience.

Chosen Fact: His musical influences include Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, Nat King Cole, Brian McKnight, Joe and Boyz II Men.
